because of all the sound being concentrated directly into your earhole and whatnot (so eloquent, i know)
i really love listening to music with earphones.
i mean. i know most people probably do this already. (ipods, hello) but for some reason i can't install itunes onto my computer, thus leaving me unable to transfer any new music onto my ipod. so mostly i just listen to stuff through my computer speakers when i'm at home. but my sister's finishing off her weekend 10-hour homework load (and she's in 7th grade. wow. i finished my homework in like an hour) so i'm using earphones so as not to distract her. hehe i sound so considerate, when in reality my mom yelled me into it. (:

anyways, i think too often people focus on the lyrics & melody of the song. and there's nothing wrong with that, because lyrics are totally a vital component to a song. but it's nice to be able to try and focus on the harmony in the background.

oh, how i wish i were better at guitar. or that i had the time (and motivation) to actually practice and try to become better. i basically touch my guitar like...once a month. if at all.
